Color Image Processing enables the vectorization of color maps and drawings, by converting them to monochrome color. This technology enables designers the world over to make the crucial decision to convert. With electronically maintained drawings, they do not need to worry about safety in the preservation and maintenance of the drawings. CD-ROMs are fairly reliable and last for an appreciable period with all stored drawings and maps intact.
